Interesting, no? I would use this word so much more often if I was a cattle farmer, apparently.
May. It was a busy month. We started by moving. Ugh. But yeah!! We moved a 1930's apartment a bit closer to town, but still close to school. And with lots more character! (Much to Mike's dismay at first...) We had some of our lovely friends help us move up to the fourth floor of our new building. Without a lift. They were incredibly kind about it! This is what they had to look forward to when they were done though.
And this is what our place looked like for the next couple days. Err.. I mean weeks.
Then we went to the Electronic Beats festival to see Hot Chip!! We got there incredibly early. Like 830pm. Apparently Hot Chip wasn't going to be on until 1230am. Haha! Are we that old?? So we got some girlie drinks.
(Yes, Mike's "mojito" is the extra fruity one!)
Then saw this Vanilla Ice wannabe perform in all his white suit loveliness!
Then after a few more performances, HOT CHIP CAME ON STAGE!!!
They were fabulous and we danced all night!
Then we went to explore Vyšehrad on our long weekend.
And the baby tower!
Which happens to have a Jewish cemetery close to it.
Then we went to see an outdoor play of Romeo and Juliet that our friend from school was in.
And then there was a party outside our building.
With a pig on a spit,
and, yes, homemade chips!
And that was May.
